The single biggest factor for successful physical therapy is completing your treatment.

We have always practiced good cleaning and disinfecting protocols and have
increased the frequency and depth of those efforts.
Rest assured that we are still paying extra attention to all items that are frequently touched.
We continue vigilant hand washing for our staff and patients.

Should anything change regarding office hours, appointment times, etc.,
we will let you know immediately.

From our family to yours, we wish you all the best – and remember:

Let’s keep calm and wash our hands. Follow Reliable news from the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control, and the Sate/County Officials.

Medcessity and the Covid-19 updates

How Medcessity is Protecting Patients & Staff.

Novel human coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is of concern to all of us.

We are open to care for our patients and taking tangible steps to help prevent the spread of disease and protect our patients and staff.

The single biggest factor for successful physical therapy is to complete the treatment. Medcessity remains open to serve our patients.

CLEANING & DISINFECTION IN OUR CLINIC
We have always practiced good cleaning and disinfecting protocols and have increased the frequency and depth of those efforts. Rest assured that we are paying extra attention to items that are frequently touched.

PRACTICE PROPER HAND & WRIST HYGIENE
We have mandated vigilant hand washing. Wash your hands – and your wrists often. Staff regularly wash their hands between patients, but we are placing extra emphasis on this. We ask patients to wash their hands, or use hand sanitizer, before and after treatment.

COVER YOUR COUGHS & SNEEZES WITH A TISSUE
Please cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. If no tissue is handy, sneeze or cough into a bent elbow. Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing regularly.

AVOID TOUCHING YOUR EYES, NOSE OR MOUTH
People frequently touch their eyes, nose or mouth without even realizing it. Try and eliminate this behavior, particularly after touching objects or being around someone who is coughing or sneezing.

STAY AT HOME IF YOU ARE SICK
A key point is keeping people who are ill away from other people. Therefore, we have instructed any staff feeling ill to remain at home. We ask the same of any patients feeling ill, or develop of fever of 100.4 ºF ( 38 ºC) or higher.

One More Reason why Physical Therapy is Better than Pain Medication

FDA Strengthens NSAID Warning for Heart, Stroke Risks

Disclosures July 09, 2015

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has strengthened an existing label warning that nonaspirin nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may increase the risk for heart attack or stroke, according to an agency alert sent today…

Heart attack or stroke risk can increase as early as the first weeks of NSAID use, and the risk may increase with longer NSAID use. The risk appears to be greater at higher doses.
